Have you ditched the booze? Are you at the stage where you are curious about whether it could be right time for you to train to be a Sober Coach, and be ready to step out and start inspiring others?

What can happen when you are a Sober Coach accredited with The Sober Club?

Our Sober Coaches have got up to some exciting stuff recently, and I don’t think I’m over-blowing it to say that they credit the ‘holistic and comprehensive’ training with giving them the skills, confidence, motivation and Go-getter’ attitude to be able to do it!  They saw the opportunities and maximised them!

Congrats today to Andy Blackman from @A.Fterparty who trained with me in June, despite working in the NHS, he has set up A.Fterparty, already hosted one event, and is hosting another on Sunday Jan 21st in Manchester, Details on our events page ) I am speaking there, alongside former Big Brother Winner Anthony Hutton (my Alcohol Free Life podcast guest this week) Because of an encounter with a journalist at one of my events Andy is sharing his story in the mainstream press !  Read it here

Andy is also one of the coaches who have shared their audio tip for Dry January on this weeks podcast, and a whole bunch of coaches I have trained have got fantastic exposure for their business by sharing their insights and a tip in an ebook Sobriety Rocks Top tips for Successful Dry January – A collection of pivotal moments and insights from Sober Coaches, that came out 31 Dec and hit Number One in the Health and Recovery chart on Amazon!  Its fantastic promotion for the coaches and our Find a Coach Directory

There are SO many opportunities when you complete this training. You may want to add skills to your existing work, if you are a therapist, coach, practitioner, or it might mean starting a whole new business, or a side hustle. It may also be that you want to dig deep into personal transformation and feel equipped to support family and friends. Training to be a Sober Coach can open so many doors, and you could be making such a difference in helping to raise awareness of ‘grey area drinkers’, those who are not clinically dependent, but drinking more than they want to, who are becoming curious or are ready to commit to living their best life without the booze.

If you are interested in potentially inspiring others, or if you know someone who its perfect for, our next training starts April 27-28 in Herts, two transformative in person days (it can be online) followed by 5-6 weeks of online sessions and ongoing mentoring and support (and promotion!) The training is very comprehensive and includes core modules around nutrition, trauma, mindset et-al plus a whole suite of biz/promotion skills – hence the Sober ‘360’ title!

The Sober 360 Coach Training is not recovery or addiction counselling, and doesn’t equip you to work with those at ‘rock bottom’, it’s for those people who are drinking more than they want to, and we aim to encourage them to focus on creating a life they don’t need to escape from.

Our next Sober 360 Coach training (after Jan which is full) starts 27-28 April with 2 in-person days in Herts, followed by 5 weeks online sessions and ongoing mentoring and support.  It can all be done online if you are not in the UK)   The price will rise after Feb 28 Limited spaces as there is a lot of 1-1 work.

If you have any questions please reply to this email. If you know others who may be interested please forward this info, let them know you recommended and there will be a commission for you if they sign up (and weren’t already on my radar!)
